Day to Day Operations

• Assume sole responsibility for assigned Mechanical engineering work scopes.
• Carry out Mechanical discipline work within a project team, supporting the project team for field development of oil and gas production facilities and renewable energies projects.
• Plan, budget, organize and control a segment of the Mechanical engineering deliverables for the project.
• Prepare Mechanical deliverables for all project phases of oil and gas and renewable industries.
• Ensure that all work is completed without compromise to quality and is delivered according to the project schedule.
• Provide direction and guidance on all Mechanical engineering technical queries raised by either internal or external parties.
• Liaise with the Client’s Engineering, Operations and Maintenance staff as required to ensure a consistent approach to project completion.
• Promote safe behavior at all times.
• Provide sound technical advice and solutions to a diversity of technical problems within the discipline.
• Co-ordinate with other disciplines during all stages of design development, construction, pre-commissioning, and start-up.
• Assist in the coordination of all activities related to Mechanical engineering design.
• Identify any areas of concern with respect to progress and/or quality and recommend corrective actions as required.
• Fully trained and knowledgeable with relevant Mechanical Codes & standards, Safety and Occupational Health & Safety standards.
• Broad technical knowledge of engineering designing of Mechanical Power systems & Controls in basic, detail and production stages for systems for FPSO/ FPU/FSO/MOPU & offshore platforms.
• Strong background with resolution of technical issues during projects planning and EPC execution phases.
• Demonstrated ability to handle multiple projects concurrently and meet deadlines.
• Demonstrated ability to plan, organize, prioritize, and successfully execute tasks in accordance with business objectives.
• Project management skills.
  
  Minimum Qualification
• Bachelor/Engineering degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
• Highly familiar with ASME/API/ISO/ MARPOL and other international Standards.
• Proficient with 3D software such as E3D/Aveva/ SP3D.
• Minimum of 15 years relevant experience in in design office or EPC for / FPSO/ FSO/FPU/MOPU.
• Experience with performing FEED design, FEED Verification & Detail Engineering for Mechanical Discipline.
• Experience with Preparation of Equipment Specification & datasheets.
• Experience in Preparing Vendor technical Proposal and technical bid evaluation (TBE) and selection of equipment.
• Experience in Vendor document review related to Rotary Equipment’s, Static Equipment`s.
