  • £24,404 per annum (pro rata for part time)
  • 18.5 - 37 hours per week
  • Permanent - 178 hours available in total

Your role and responsibilities

Our lively Children`s Centres are looking for someone who enjoys being the first point of contact for families. You`ll cover reception duties, administrative tasks, and keeping our family hub running smoothly. More importantly, you`ll provide a warm welcome and helpful information to parents, children, and our partners, guiding them to services that foster healthy development. As part of our collaborative team, your goal will be supporting the needs of children from pregnancy to 5 years old, along with their families. You`ll help us deliver our Healthy Child programme through the Children`s Centre Statutory Framework, which makes a real difference in little ones` physical, social, emotional, and intellectual growth during these vital early years.

  1. West Suffolk
  2. South and West Ipswich 
  3. North and East Ipswich 
  4. Lowestoft and Waveney

You will need 

  • a level 2 qualification in English and Mathematics or equivalent experience or evidence of skills
  • good levels of communication skills (written and verbal)
  • the ability to provide advice and information with clarity and impartiality to meet the needs of the recipient.
