Director, GNOC Fabric Networks

We are looking for a Director of Network Operations Center to lead a our Fabric network support organization. The role will lead a global organization that supports 24x7 network operations of Oracle’s Cloud Infrastructure as part of the Global Network Operations Center organization. We need a strong leader to build and lead an engineering organization. You must be passionate about operations and the customer experience. You should be comfortable supporting distributed systems that interact with a variety of services. You should enjoy building effective organizations, developing roadmaps, and building and fostering a strong leadership team. You should value simplicity and scale, work comfortably in a collaborative, agile environment, and be excited to learn. Your excellent judgment and strong communication skills will be invaluable when defining the roadmap for your areas of ownership.

Mandatory Qualifications:
· 5+ years of experience in large scale physical network support
· 10+ years of experience in an engineering or operations management role
· Experience in a technical leadership and management role
· Experience with developing annual roadmaps and developing long term strategies enabling us to successfully support our rapidly growing infrastructure.
· Excellent organizational, verbal, and written communication skills
· Excellent judgment to influence product roadmap direction, features, and priorities
· Bachelor’s degree in Network Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical/Hardware Engineering or related field
